The Black Tie Dinner is the largest in the nation, and now has set the record for fundraising as well. The success of the last year's event was directly related to the tremendous support of the North Texas community. We want to thank the generous community and the support of our loyal sponsors and table captains. In 2007, this support resulted in a $1.27 million net distribution, the largest distribution of any gay and lesbian fundraising dinner in the nation, and brought our cumulative 26-year distribution total to nearly $12 million.

The 2007 Black Tie Dinner celebrated its 26th Anniversary on November 17, 2007. Roger Wedell was the 2007 Kuchling Humanitarian Award receipent, given to a local citizen who has made a difference in our community. Mr. Martin Sheen was our keynote speaker and challenged the community to continue to embrace diversity.

We look forward to another year with outstanding speakers and entertainment in 2008. The 2008 Dinner will be our most exciting event ever!

By returning or joining us as a sponsor, serving as a Table Captain, or buying tickets to the Dinner, you will enjoy an empowering and entertaining evening and provide generous contributions to our local beneficiaries and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
