Odds of winning are based on the number of raffle tickets purchased. (Maximum of 2,500 tickets will be sold.) Void where prohibited. ELIGIBILITY: Open only to persons who are 18 years of age or older as of November 16, 2024. Present and past employees of Park Place Dealerships, Black Tie Dinner Board/Advisory Board members and their immediate family members (including spouses and domestic partners) are ineligible. BTD is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, misdirected, illegible or mutilated entries. Winner must show proof of a valid driver’s license in order to claim the prize. BTD reserves the right to revoke any prize or remove a purchased ticket if the ticket holder does not meet any or all of the eligibility requirements, or if the purchased ticket has been damaged or altered.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: The winning ticket will be drawn during the 43rd Annual Black Tie Dinner program on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Winner need not be present to win and will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email. If the winner cannot be reached within 10 days after first notification attempt, the winner’s ticket is found to be ineligible, or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected by random drawing from the remaining tickets sold. PRIZE MUST BE CLAIMED BY Monday, December 16, 2024. BTD is not responsible for problems occurring through telecommunications, the postal service or the Internet, which may affect winner’s receipt of the prize notification.

PRIZE: Provided courtesy of Park Place Motorcars of Dallas for BTD’s use as the raffle prize, the holder of the winning ticket will have a purchase credit, not to exceed $45,000, to be used exclusively toward the purchase of a Mercedes-Benz automobile at Park Place Motorcars of Dallas, either alone or with the addition of personal funds from the holder of the winning ticket with respect to any purchase amount greater than $45,000. If the total purchase amount is less than $45,000, the holder of the winning ticket shall not be entitled to the difference. This is not a cash prize. The prize has a set value and is not negotiable. BTD reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar or greater value in the event of the unavailability of the prize.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Upon verification of the winner, BTD will notify Park Place Motorcars of Dallas in order for the holder of the winning ticket to coordinate with Park Place Motorcars to select a vehicle and finalize the purchase and transfer of the vehicle to the winner. Choice of vehicle may be limited based on inventory availability. The terms of the dealership’s and manufacturer’s automobile transfer documentation will govern issues of liability relating to the

prize after acceptance of the automobile by the winner.

TAX, TITLE, LICENSE, AND INSURANCE OBLIGATIONS: Prize winner is responsible for title and license fees, which are due at the time the vehicle is purchased and transferred to the winner. Winner must also provide proof of adequate automobile insurance to cover the value of the vehicle. All local, state and federal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. BTD will file an IRS Form 1099 MISC with the Internal Revenue Service reporting the value of the prize as income to the winner. Winner will provide BTD with a completed and signed IRS Form W-9 or winner may be subject to withholding tax. Winner must show proof of social security number to BTD. This is for tax recording purposes only and will not be used or released for any other purposes.

INDEMNIFICATION & LIMIT ON LIABILITY: By purchasing a ticket (and as a condition of winning the prize), purchasers (on behalf of themselves and any other named ticket holder) agree that BTD is not responsible for any harm, injury or damage caused to any person or property through participation in the raffle or the use of the prize by any person, and agrees to hold harmless BTD, its directors, contractors, agents, representatives, sponsors, beneficiaries and volunteers from any claim of such responsibility. Harm, injury, or damage includes but is not limited to occurrences beyond the control of BTD such as death, bodily injury, property damage or theft, or for failure of any automobile manufacturer’s or dealership’s warranties.

GENERAL: Ticket purchases are not tax deductible or refundable. Prize must be claimed by Monday, December 16, 2024 (within 30 days of the 43rd Annual Black Tie Dinner). The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. BTD may use winner’s name and likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation. BTD is not responsible for any failure of communications or failure of the Internet or its website. BTD reserves the right to modify these rules and will give prompt announcement of any rule changes. All decisions of BTD are final and binding in all matters related to this raffle.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: By purchasing a ticket, purchasers (on behalf of themselves and any other named ticketholder) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of BTD with respect to the raffle. The winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release and show proof of a valid driver’s license in order to claim prize.
